- Clarifying your child's casting
- Selecting Compelling & Appropriate Audition Material
- Identifying the qualified agents that are looking for your child.
- Knowing how to approach these agents correctly
- And NAILING the audition process
After just a few weeks, you’ll have everything you need to get your young actor seen and signed by high-quality, reputable talent agents.
MODULE 1
IDENTIFYING YOUR CHILD'S CASTING TYPE
Many talented actors miss the mark by getting their "casting type" wrong. In this module, you'll learn:
- The various casting types for young actors
- How to identify your child's casting type (aka their "Industry Superpower!")
- How to make the most of their casting type to actually get, um, cast!
After this module, you’ll be ready to help your young actor prepare headshots and audition material that perfectly showcase their perfect casting type.
MODULE 2
PUTTING YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD
By the end of this module, you will have professional headshots for your child that fit their casting and a resume that meets industry standards:
- learn the best practices for industry headshots
- learn how to find a photographer who can get you the shots you want
- Learn how to put together a resume that grabs industry attention even if your child has very little experience.
After this module, you’ll (almost) be ready to start approaching talent agencies.
MODULE 3
AUDITION PREPARATION
So you've figured out your child's casting. Now it's time to select the audition material (aka monologue) that will highlight his or her "Casting Superpower." In this module we'll:
- Find the perfect monologue for your child's casting
- Evaluate and "score" the monologue to make it a real performance.
- Teach you all the insider memorization tools to help your actor learn their monologue
After this Module, your child will not only be able to nail their audition with their agent, but they'll be ready to nail any audition they do!
MODULE 4
FINDING YOUR INDUSTRY ALLY
Learn how to locate and identify reputable and ideal agents for your child actor and how to approach them so you get called in:
- Why you should seek a SAG-accredited agent
- How to find SAG-accredited agents in your area that are looking for your child.
- How to send in a submission seeking representation that gets looked at

MODULE 5:
GET READY FOR THE INTERVIEW!
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Help your child put their best foot forward. In this module, you'll learn:
- How to prepare your child to "nail" their interview with an agent
- What to do if you "catch a vibe" you don't care for in the interview process.
You’ll leave this module confident about closing the deal with your first agent, and better yet, your child will feel comfortable too!

HEY, I'M NOELLE!
When I started as an actress 25 years ago, I was a bit lost to say the least. I had so many questions: "How do I get an agent?" "How do I get professional acting work?" "How should I prepare for auditions?" I spent thousands of dollars trying to figure that out. While some of that money was well spent, much of it was a waste.
Parents, I want to eliminate the sketchy, gatekeeper, pay-to-play vibe and bring you the straight scoop on how to get your aspiring young actor seen by industry pros and working.
Though, I am a parent first and foremost, I have also been an industry professional for 25 years and have coached young actors to huge roles in film and TV. My mission is to bring you the best industry insider knowledge and training to set your child up (and you!) for success in the acting world.
Our approach at the Child Actors Institute is to put the child first. Success for us means a happy, healthy child as well as a happy, healthy home life AND rockin' career.
